Medications

As per Rainbow Schools policy, ALL medication will be stored in a locked location and will be dispensed by a staff member. Students may not have any medication in their possession during the school day. Parents/guardians are required to complete a medication dispensing form and have it signed by a doctor if their child must be given a prescribed medication on a regular basis throughout the school year.  If there is any change to the prescription, the form must be revised and initialed by the doctor. Parents/guardians will need to provide a copy of a prescription and/or sign a form for the dispensing of other medications.
